Auctioneer is committed to maintaining your privacy. Auctioneer does, however, gather certain information that you provide to us.

Auctioneer will take all reasonable steps to abide by the Privacy Policy and all users hereby agree to its terms and agree to act in accordance with the policy when using our website and/or Auction Service. If you do not agree to the collection of this information and the other information specified in the Privacy Policy, then do not accept the terms and conditions of these Terms when registering for the website and/or Auction Service.

You must submit personal information at the time of registration to consign or bid in our Auction Service. We will never give or sell your information to any outside company. The information you provide us with will only be used by Auctioneer, the Consignor that you purchase items from, and the Bidder that bids on or purchases those items, to maintain records for the auction sales and to aid us in providing service to you. By using our website and/or Auction Service, you are consenting to the collection and use of this information by Auctioneer.

1.1 WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?

When you become a Consignor, Bidder or when purchasing an item from our online store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our website, we may also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

1.1.1 Registration & Passwords

In consideration of your use of the website and/or Auction Service, you agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by any registration form that you may be prompted to fill out in person or on the website to use the Auction Service (such information being the “Registration Data”) and (b) maintain and promptly update the Registration Data to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any Registration Data that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or Auctioneer has grounds to suspect that such Registration Data is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, Auctioneer has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the website and/or the Auction Service.

You will receive a password and/or account designation upon completing the registration process to use the website and/or Auction Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any such password and account, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your password and account. You agree to (a) immediately notify Auctioneer of any unauthorized use of your password and account or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. Auctioneer will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this paragraph.

You may request that your account be closed by contacting Auctioneer customer support at admin@wildwestauctionswyo.com. You may not close your account while you are the highest bidder on a live or online auction in connection with the website and/or Auction Service.

1.2 WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

We use email mailing lists to notify our customers about online and live auctions. With your permission, we may send you emails about our Auction Service, new products and other updates.

If your email or other registration information changes; please notify us immediately. If you are receiving a particular mailing and wish to discontinue receiving future mailings, simply follow the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email, or forward the received email to us and we will promptly remove your name from our email list communications. You will, however, continue to receive communication regarding any consignment, bids or purchases from our website and or Auction Service.

1.3 HOW DO YOU GET MY CONSENT?

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

1.5 RISKS OF USING THE INTERNET – SECURITY

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you pay with a credit card via PayPal, the information is subject to PayPal’s privacy policy.

1.6 COLLECTION OF BROWSER INFORMATION – COOKIES

To keep track of cart data, WooCommerce makes use of 3 cookies:

woocommerce_cart_hash
woocommerce_items_in_cart
wp_woocommerce_session_

The first two cookies contain information about the cart as a whole and helps WooCommerce know when the cart data changes. The final cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer. No personal information is stored within these cookies.

1.7 CAN I SEE THE PERSONAL INFORMATION WILD WEST AUCTIONS HAS ABOUT ME?

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms.

1.8 CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If Auctioneer is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
